My Story
At the age of 18, Ryan Aquino began his career in the financial services industry, demonstrating strong initiative and a commitment to growth from an early stage. He steadily advanced his career at Global Credit Union, gaining valuable experience across multiple roles before transitioning to Northern Skies Federal Credit Union, where he currently serves as a Marketing Specialist.
Alongside his professional development, Ryan has remained deeply dedicated to community engagement and service. He has actively contributed his time and expertise to a variety of impactful initiatives, including Financial Reality Fairs, Special Olympics events, programs at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and other community outreach efforts. These experiences reflect not only his passion for financial literacy and education, but also his commitment to creating meaningful, lasting impact within the communities he serves.
Hobbies
Outside of his work in finance and design, Ryan Aquino previously explored creative storytelling and audio production as an online radio DJ and podcaster under the stage name “AKC” in 2022. This experience provided an early platform to develop his voice in content creation, audience engagement, and digital storytelling.
Today, Ryan continues to blend creativity with strategic execution through social media management, marketing campaigns, and multimedia content production. Leveraging a wide range of industry-standard tools—including Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, PixelArt, CapCut, and Canva he produces engaging, visually compelling digital experiences that connect with audiences and elevate brand presence.
